Pre production

·         What is Pre-production?

Preproduction is the prossess within preparing all elements that are to be involved in the play, film or tv show. usually during pre-production the cast is finalized the costumes and set are put togther and the crew is hired, locations are usually found and contracted in preperation to shoot.

·         What are the elements involved in pre-production?

During pre production, cast director and cinematographer are hired and put in place, the script is broken down and a detailed schedule is put in place to insure that shooting can start promptly and on time.

·         What documentation is needed in pre-production?

During pre production a set of documents must be completed such as a risk assment, a budget list,crew list and material list. 

What are the legal requirements?

when filming you must have copyright on any famous quotes or music you use, you must have permission if filming on private property or if filming someone under the age of 16 by there parent/gardian.
